Established in 1912 to publish books in Hindi, Sanskrit, Prakrit, Apabhramsha and Urdu.Both hardcover and paperback books are published.
Most of the books published are based on the Jain religion, Indology or Ethics.
A poetry collection and a short story collection has been published, but that is not a focus area.
Sound Indological studies are the focus area.
As a rule, only original unpublished material is published. The publisher is not interested in reprints.
In all cases, the copyright remains with the publisher.
The best method of approach is to email first, followed by a hard copy of the written material. The publisher will not read mansucripts online.
The publisher has a team of scholars whom he may refer a certain manuscript to.
The publisher reserves the right to choose or reject a manuscript based !
on his personal decision. He is not bound to assign any particular reason for rejecting a manuscript.
Submitted manuscripts shall NOT be returned. The author will be given a reply regarding the publishing or otherwise of the material, by email.
The publisher prefers publishing only the most eminent and well regarded authors. First time authors are requested to present peer reviews along with the manuscript.
