Description

Submit up to five poems or two essays with SASE, or by email in the body of the email (do not send as attachments as they will not be opened). Poems should be less than two pages in length, and essays less than five, double-spaced.

Seeking serious, high quality poetry, on any topic, whether overtly religious or not. Publishes work by poets who have studied poetry, are aware of its forms and structures, and know how to craft language and present a unique and hopeful perspective.

No light or "greeting-card-style" verse; simplistic answers; preaching or religious platitudes; vulgar or pornographic material. Rhyming poetry accepted if in a traditional form, such as sonnet, etc.

Essays on poetry, literature and the role of spirituality and religion in the literary arts are also welcomed.

Publishes previously unpublished material only.
