I sent out to them a query letter, a brief outline of my novel and a sample chapter by mail. I received back a quick response from one of Ms Lyon's assistants a few days later. It politely stated that while the idea of my mystery novel was quite interesting, it was not right for them. They wished me luck in finding a home for my work...already have! I appreciate their quick polite response.
