User feedback

Belinda - of course they are polite, prompt, and helpful. For 1250 I'd be pretty polite, prompt, and helpful, too. Con artists usually are nice to people because they really want your cash - the real agents don't have so much of a motive to bend over backwards. And real agents only get paid when they sell your manuscript. If they don't, they don't get anything. No reputable agent charges an author before making a sale.

Does charge a fee, but this is not unaffordable. I believe the fee was bought in after they spent many days/weeks working with new authors, for those authors to let them down by not completing manuscripts, resulting in the projects failing to get off the ground. I have found them very prompt, reply to e-mails is rapid, and will always call you to answer any questions. They give more feedback on rejection than most as well. No one can guarantee success, only your manuscript can do that.

This Agency charge 1250 for 15 hours work to introduce scripts to film companies and after that 150 per hour plus expenses. They take 10% of any royalties achieved. They offer no guarantees.
