We are a fresh, new literary agency based in Kiev, Ukraine. After only representing clients in post-soviet countries, although I myself am British, I became aware of the vast amount of Slavonic literary talent that never makes it to English-reading shores. It is this attitude that created our vision:

To enrich the English reading world by being the key that unlocks the doors to the literary heritage of Russian/Ukrainian literature.

What do we accept?

We accept submissions for representation from both fiction and nonfiction authors.

In the fiction sphere we deal with most genres; Science Fiction, Fantasy, Suspense, Horror, Mystery and Historical, Romance and Children's Literature.

Not every author writes fiction. We will also accept submissions for nonfiction and technical books.

N.B. We do not accept submissions for poetry or small articles. We will not respond to any submission of these books.

Do we only accept published authors?

Although it is obviously easier to represent an already published author, We in no way limit our representations to those already published.

After all, even published authors had to start somewhere. It is the quality of your work that we are interested in.

Do we only accept Russian/Ukrainian authors?

No. Although our prime responsibility is the promotion of Russian/Ukrainian literature to the English speaking market, please do not feel that our representation is limited to this only. If you would like to make a query to us we will gladly take a look at your work. Good literature is good, regardless of nationality. Please remember, as with our Rus/Ukr submissions, all queries MUST be in the English language.

For international clients, please know that we do not negotiate the sale of un-agented or unpublished books to Ukrainian or Russian publishing houses.
