Emrys Journal seeks submissions on the theme of Laughter
firstwriter.com – Thursday July 27, 2017

From August 1, until November 1, 2017, Emrys Journal will be accepting submissions of unpublished fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction on the theme of "Laughter" for their 35th Anniversary Issue:
"This year we've been thinking a lot about humor. The frightening, surreal humor of Charles Simic, the biting humor of Z.Z. Packer. Gentle humor.Dark humor. Satire. Farce. Jokes that help you forget your problems, and jokes that help you face them. Comedy that is married to tragedy. Send us your best humorous work (whether or not it’s 'ha-ha funny')."
