Description
Represents children’s book authors, illustrators, and author‑illustrators. Seeks fiction and nonfiction picture books, chapter books, and middle grade. Drawn to distinct voices, unexpected wit, fast pacing, and punchy or emotionally resonant endings. Looks for illustration in traditional mediums with inventive use of color, texture, perspective, and detail. Especially interested in authentic explorations of underrepresented cultures, relationships, and identities. Open to magic, dragons, cats, layered sister stories, unreliable narrators, surprise endings, cozy reads, witty voices, and fresh takes on universal themes from underrepresented points of view. Generally avoids rhyme, time travel, didactic projects, second person, fourth‑wall breaks, and work intended for adults as well as children. Accepts queries from the 1st to 15th of every month through QueryTracker only. No email submissions.Approaches
