For picture books, they welcome author and author-illustrator projects featuring lyrical or humorous text, strong narrative arcs, and BIPOC human characters, as well as biographies of lesser-known or contemporary figures. Middle grade submissions should be fun, heartfelt, and character-driven, with particular enthusiasm for mysteries, horror, and fantasy that evoke curiosity or adventure. In young adult, they are actively building their list in suspense, horror, and speculative fiction, favoring layered plots, intense protagonists, and inventive storytelling formats. Adult submissions are invited in horror, mystery, thriller, fantasy, sci-fi, and romantic comedy, with a preference for atmospheric, emotionally grounded narratives, fresh takes on genre conventions, and stories that deliver high stakes or chaotic charm. They are especially interested in authors who write across genres and formats.
