Heard back from them after about a week. It was a rejection but it so nice to get any feedback at all.

I sent my query via email and got a response the same day. They are requesting to see the proposal and sample chapters. Will post more later.

I got a quick response that they liked my work and wanted more. I sent more and again received an enthusiastic letter that they'd be reviewing it and getting with me soon. Days later, I contacted them again; only to receive a form letter with this response: "While there is no doubt as to your ability and talent, our focus must remain on those clients with whom we already have an established relationship." If they don't want new clients, they should've said so in the first place.
