Always a good idea to do some background checking on any agency. I highly recommend that for this agency. A simple "google" search will tell you all you need to know. He would not answer my question as to how many agents he represents or how many books he has sold. Other agents who were interested in my book had no trouble answering that. Be careful.

Was sent a release form to sign for them to read my complete script which I sent out to them. Then I got a letter asking me for $500 to represent me, I have just sent an email back stating that I do not have that kind of money. Plus I told him that I was under the impression that he got paid when I got paid which was the usual standard!

Just another fee agency, designed to seperate you from your $! When I began inquiring about their fee policies, because the links on their web-site were conveniently not working, John got defensive, and sent me an unprofessional e-mail response. When I questioned him further, he refused to respond. You've been warned, use your better judgement.
