Barbara Harris has treated me with extreme professionalism. The issue regarding $250 to cover multiple photocopying of manuscript, synopsis, etc. as well as postage, is really a non-issue. I was given a choice of providing the copies myself, or providing the $250 to cover her expenses. Barbara has responded both timely and pleasantly to all of my correspondence. Copyediting provided at N/C

What a shame I didn't check up before sending Barbara Harris my MS. I was delighted to be asked to send sample chapters and then thrilled to be told I had been accepted for representation. Unfortunatly the alarm bells started to sound when part of the contract explains a check for $250 must be sent to 'cover submission costs' = scam in my book. You don't have to look far to read fees equal scam in this industry and unfortunatly, Barbara will not be getting $250 from me. My search goes on.

Barbara Harris responded positively to my e-mail
query, requesting the first 50 pages of my novel, a bio, etc. in hard
copy. When I e-mailed that these were in the mail, she responded
quickly that she would let me know what she thought. She has been
polite and very professional.
