I sent a question to her last night, and got a reply this morning saying yes she would be interested in reading a query for a book I self-published in 1997, but she was swamped right today launching her new epublishing company, ravenousromance.com, and could I query her after the first of the year. Very polite and unusually fast reply.

In response to a respectful query letter with SASE, I got no response, no basic courtesy.

Although I am new to this little game of writing I fully expected L.Perkins to at the very least send me a "thanks but no thanks" in the mail. I knew I sent a sase when I sent my work out to them. Very rude L. Perkins to keep my story for over four months and never write me back. RUDE
