Seeks adult fiction and non-fiction with a particular interest in speculative genres including science fiction, fantasy, and literary horror, especially work that demonstrates originality, deep world-building, and character-driven narratives. They welcome submissions that push genre boundaries or explore philosophical and humanistic themes through cyberpunk or hard science fiction. Folkloric and horror-tinged literary fiction is also encouraged, as is writing that engages profoundly with landscape or the sea. Non-fiction by experts able to communicate complex ideas with flair is of strong interest, particularly in areas such as music, history, science, and cultural commentary.
