How does the firstwriter.com website identify a user's country?

firstwriter.com includes IP2Location LITE data available from https://lite.ip2location.com. This is used to identify your probable location based on your IP address, but may be inaccurate if you are using a proxy connection.

If your country is not correctly identified you can select it manually using the drop-down menu in the footer of each page, and your selection will be remembered using cookies.
