How to recover saved data from an old account
When you have a firstwriter.com account you can save certain data on the website, such as notes, reminders, and saved searches, etc.
If your account closes for whatever reason this data will be saved for approximately three months, and can be recovered during this time when you take out a new subscription.
If you re-open the old subscription you should find that your old data gets recovered automatically.
If it is not – or if you take out a new subscription unconnected to your previous subscription – you can recover the data from the old account yourself. Simply log into your new account at https://www.firstwriter.com/subscriber/ and click the button to retrieve data from a previous account, which will take you to https://www.firstwriter.com/subscriber/retrievedata/. Once there, enter the username and password from the old account you want to retrieve data from.
Be careful, however. Once you retrieve the data from the old account it will replace and delete any data on your new account! It's therefore best to perform this action as soon as you create your new account, before you save any new notes, searches, or reminders, etc.
