Additional informationSend one story of up to 25–30 pages or up to six poems of any length (though rarely publishes poems of more than 100 lines). Poetry and fiction submissions should be sent in different envelopes and should not be sent between June 1 and October 1. Nonfiction submissions are accepted year-round. Articles and essays of breadth and depth are considered, as well as discussions of leading writers; of art, music, and drama; analyses of trends in literature, science, philosophy, and public affairs. No plays, reviews of single books, or submissions by fax or email. Simultaneous submissions are accepted reluctantly.
