Describes itself as Scotland's leading literary magazine, publishing new creative writing poetry, fiction, discussion of cultural affairs, theatre, reviews and the arts in general, plus critical essays. It publishes international as well as Scottish writers and is a dynamic force for artistic and cultural change and development. Always open to new writers and ideas.Fiction may be of any length, but average is around 3,000 words. Send one piece at a time. Poetry submissions should contain between four and ten poems. Single poems are not usually published.
Articles and reviews are usually commissioned and ideas should be discussed with the editor in advance.
All submissions must include an SAE or IRCs or email address for response. No submissions by email.
