Description

The longest running literary agency in Washington, D.C. It's principal is an author of ten books, has contributed to several others, and has published about 300 articles and op eds. He has represented several writers groups as legal counsel; he presently does so for The Associated Writing Programs. Our clients come from all places; we handle predominantly serious non-fiction, but also some fiction. We have representatives in New York City and abroad, and have handled movie and television deals, alone and with west coast co-agents.

We do not have a website, and with rare exceptions are considering only new clients who are referred to us by present clients or personal contacts, or where there are special reasons why we would be the best agents. Such enquiries should state those facts. Include a summary and biography, and SASE if the material is to be returned.

User feedback

This agent rests on his laurels and is not
motivated to work on behalf of the agent. Does the minimum required to
get by and expects his celebrity clients to essentially sell themselves
by virtue of their name recognition. More money hungry than concerned
for best interests of clients. Slow in responding and unhelpful. Was
likely a star in his day. Now just cruising through life without
enterprise. Don't waste your time or talent.
