This agency have no respect for writers hard work, time, printing material and cost of postage. They return my MSS without any evidence of of reading it, with query letter and all, intact within a week, without any comment.

Although, I made Tel. query before sending my script and was asked to send it.

I received an answer within three days of submitting my ms. A rejection slip, photocopied onto a compliment slip. I was very happy to have a reply so quickly but deflated at the form of the rejection.

I met Philip Patterson at a Writers Conference (June 2005). He'd read the sample work submitted in advance, liked it, and asked for more. I gave him 4 complete chapters, but as the m/s was unfinished, I did not expect a reply. Received an e-mail (Dec 2005) to say he liked the idea of my novel but wouldn't be able to place it. I followed up in June 2006 with an e-mail query and a synopsis of the completed m/s, but was rejected. In all dealings, I found Philip to be supportive and courteous.
