Lucid

By Christina Evans

Andromedia (Andie) Claibourne never sleeps - she can’t afford to. Andie has a gift, or a curse depending on how you look at it. Since the death of her mother at the age of six, Andie is physically transported to wherever she dreams the minute she falls asleep. This terrifying discovery has kept her father at her bedside for more than twenty years. Now with his sudden death, Andie finds herself completely alone for the first time in her life. Andie Claibourne begs to be cured from her sleepless life until she finds out her stepsister has been kidnapped. Suddenly her special powers could become a gift to save a child’s life.

"Lucid" captures the imagination as well as the heart. The rapid change of characters and scenery keeps the reader on their toes. I recommend "Lucid" to any reader who enjoys intense mystery, sharp humour and a touch of the unbelievable. I found it a very enjoyable read.
