How to get listed:
The first thing you need to do is to place a link back to firstwriter.com
on the page you would like us to link to. You have a choice of three
different types of link, however you must make sure that you copy the
code exactly as shown below, and do not alter it in any way.
Your ranking in our database will depend
on how highly you place our link on your page, and which of the
following links you choose.
To get the highest
ranking possible for your site, make sure you
place our link as high as possible in the HTML
code of your page. For extra credit, use our image
and description too! |

Option
1 – link, image, and description |

Choosing this
option helps maximise your ranking in our database,
and allows you to include an image with your
listing. Both these things will help raise the profile of
your site and increase your traffic. This is how the link
will appear on your page (without the dashed line!):
Copy the following code
directly into the HTML code of your web page, and upload
the web page to your server. To get the highest ranking
possible, place the code as near to the top of your HTML
page as possible. The code must appear exactly as shown
below.

Option
2 – link and description |

Choose this
option if you do not want to include an image with our
link. Again, the higher you place the code in your HTML
web page, the higher you will rank in our database. This is how the link
will appear on your page (without the dashed line!):

directly into the HTML code of your web page, and upload
the web page to your server. To get the highest ranking
possible, place the code as near to the top of your HTML
page as possible. The code must appear exactly as shown
below.

3 – link only |

If you don't
want to include an image or description on your page,
choose this option. Your ranking will suffer, so make sure
you place the code high on your page to counteract this. This is how the link
will appear on your page (without the dashed line!):
